SETx Flood Coordination Study Activities: 2020-2021 Webinar
Lamar University’s Center for Port Management and the Southeast Texas Flood Coordination Study (SETxFCS) invite you to a special webinar describing the purpose, first-year results, and near-term plans of this important study.
SETxFCS was launched in November 2019 to bring more awareness and collaboration among interested parties related to the frequent flooding events occurring in the region. Dr. Liv Haselbach, Chair, Civil and Industrial Engineering Dept, Lamar University, leads the Study. Joining Lamar on the team are representatives from UT, TxDOT, Department of Emergency Management, Corps of Engineers, US Geological Survey, local drainage districts, counties, and cities, and regional river authorities. The network has grown steadily and focused on bringing state-of-the-practice information, technology, and modelling to Southeast Texas.
